The Harlingen Sunburst Rotary Club is thrilled to share the success of our Wine & Women Golf Tournament, the first all-women’s golf tournament in the Rio Grande Valley! This incredible event brought together passionate women golfers for a day of fun, community support, and unforgettable moments, all in the name of supporting families in need.
The day was packed with excitement. Every golfer received a door prize, and generous donations from local businesses allowed us to offer a wide range of raffle prizes—from unique gift baskets to gift certificates, keeping the energy high throughout the day.
Auction Highlights and Winning Teams
One of the event’s highlights was the live auction, where attendees had the chance to bid on weekend getaways, a guided fishing trip, luxurious spa packages, and more—items generously donated by area businesses. This auction added to the spirit of the day, creating lively competition and additional fundraising for our cause.

Giving Back to Our Community
As with every year, all proceeds from the Wine & Women Golf Tournament will go toward supporting a local nonprofit organization dedicated to serving women and families. Over the past two years, our club has proudly donated to the Family Crisis Center of Harlingen, and we are excited to continue making an impact through this event.
